Alas, Max is home. He's doing great, he's such a calm, content baby. We are very blessed to have such an easy going little guy (so far). I keep saying, "we're only given what we can handle".
So far he's met and fallen in love with all of his grandparents and one of his great grandmothers. We're so glad Grandma and Grandpa live so close, we've made daily visits, most by stroller. He's also met two of his aunts (and uncles) and two cousins, a handful of neighbors and friends, and his Eonni Lucie. Life has been good!
He eats every three hours, which would explain his manly figure. He takes a few naps a day and almost sleeps through the night. He adjusted very easily to the time difference and we can tell his attaching quickly. He cries when Mom or Dad leave the room.
We had a rough flight home, Max had an allergic reaction to the formula they gave us. He didn't eat for about 18 hours and screamed for a good portion of the flight home. Finally an Asian flight attendant told us that most Asians are blood type A and lactose intolerant. She made a hot pad out of a barf bag, paper towels and hot water to put on Max's tummy. He instantly fell asleep. We stopped for some soy formula on the way home and he's been a great eater ever since. AND he cut his first tooth on the way to Incheon airport. Saturday was a big day for Max.
One of our adoption forum friends summed it up perfectly, "Wow, that's a trip you will be able to tell him over and over again! An allergy, a new tooth, first flight and new parents all in one day? No wonder he's a calm, mellow little guy now. He can handle anything!"
Big sister Daisy is still a little nervous around Max but is warming up to him more each day.

I'm so glad that everything is going well...I'll have to give you a call next time I'm going to head up that way.
that is an adorable little man. Now, we need to introduce him to my granddaughter...congratulations and get lots of sleep!
